Rocky Point trails - Beg. - Intermediate with sweep - Wed, 4/29 @ 5:30pm

Group ride by Pedal Nation (a Hillsboro based road/mountain ride group).

Rocky Point trail ride for Intermediate (but beginners welcome!).  There will be dedicated sweep rider
(nobody left behind).  

Wednesday, April 29th; 5:30pm TH time - meet at
blue gate - leaving by 5:45pm.  Expect to be back to TH by 7:45, but recommend bringing bike light just in case.

Just going to loop Lollipop then ride the Maze.   Short and sweet.  
Since there's no mapping allowed by land manager, it's better to come
on a group ride of this area - unless you like getting lost in the
woods (and who doesn't?)

Driving directions: Take Hwy 30 north towards Scappoose,
you'll notice a sign for "Rocky Point Road", turn left and take
immediate left.  (if you get to Scappoose you've gone too far).   Head
up road for about
a mile (for a serious cardio warmup park at bottom and ride up to blue
gate!). 
Blue gate is on the right.  Do not block!

Pedal Nation had a good turn out for this ride.  There were 10 people out - 5 out of 10 had never ridden at Rocky Point before.  Only 2 knew the area well enough to guide.   It turned more into an Intermediate level ride, but all seemed to be having a good time... all got good and turned around.

I heart Lollipop. 

Coal Chute is a POCSOTL.   IMBA Trail Builders will know what this stands for!  ;)
