Still can give a ride from SE

First person to call dibs on a ride for this weekend cancelled.  I have emailed Austin & David to see if one of them wants a ride.  If there are any other takers, let me know. First one to respond gets the ride.  Would prefer to leave by 3 on Friday, but can be flexible.

Drop me a line if you need a lift.

Bring Extra Drinking Water & Dry Firewood

Hey all,

We just returned from a long weekend of camping at Paradise & riding MRT.

Please be aware that the Paradise campground water system has been "shocked chlorinated" and may or may not be potable by next weekend for everyone. When we arrived the faucets were all wrapped up and flagged "do not use the water". When we left today it was basically a vague statement of "use at your own risk".

Also, the campground hosts would not sell any firewood because it was too wet (at least they were honest).

We drove down to the McKenzie Bridge General Store and were able to get both water and dry firewood (yay!) albeit in limited quantities.

The Trail on the other hand is in great shape. No downed trees and riding great! Have fun, keep the rubber side down and most of all be safe. Sorry we weren't able to join you this trip

Maybe

I might be able to join, if so I'd definitely be up for the out and back.  Never been to MRT before so stoked to check it out.

CarPool?

I will have room in/on my car for one more if any one wants to carpool from Portland.  I live SE & can get to NE, NW, & SW pretty easily.

Drop me a line if you want a ride to the ride.

Out-n-back sign up?

In keeping with tradition, this year will be another consecutive year for the out-n-back version of this MRT ride. Last year, we had a crew of Snyder, Veatch and Brannen.

Who's in for this year?

Chris

I'm in...

...but I think the contestants from last years out-and-back ride should each carry a 20 lb. trophy with them.
