Sandy Ridge Trail Project
Please join the Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA) and the Bureau of Land management (BLM) for a Sandy Ridge Trail System (SRTS) trail maintenance and build day, Sunday, May 18th, 2014.
Trail mainenance focus: Volunteers will form into small groups and make improvements to the lower section of Hide & Seek. In addition there is a strong possibily that we will be building some new trail.
If you ride these wonderful trails, please come out and help keep them in great shape!
Expectations? A few hours of trail work from 10am-2pm. At 2pm we grab our bikes and prepare to ride. As a bonus for helping work on the trails, our event sponsor Fat Tire Farm, will be shuttling people to the top in their vans . Never been to a work party? No problem, come and we'll provide instruction.
Please use the sign-up form to help us prepare for the number of attendees coming.
Here's a link to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Sandy Ridge Trail System map that describes the planned and completed Sandy Ridge trails. The map now includes the Follow the Leader and Flow Motion trails. For more information about these trails see the BLM Website.
