Event description

Join us at Mt Tabor Brewing – Portland Tap Room and find out what Metro has in store for off-road cycling in the Portland area and then stick around for our membership drive prize drawing!

Metro is the regional governance agency for the Portland metro area, serving more than 1.5 million people in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties. The agency’s boundary encompasses Portland, Oregon and 23 other cities – from the Columbia River in the north to the bend of the Willamette River near Wilsonville, and from the foothills of the Coast Range near Forest Grove to the banks of the Sandy River at Troutdale.

Representatives from Metro will join our member meeting and provide updates on the master plans for North Tualatin Mountains, Newell Creek Canyon, Chehalem Ridge, and Gabbert Butte properties.  Some of these properties are slated for mixed trail use including off-road cycling, beginning this year!

Metro will also discuss the potential park and nature bond measure for the November ballot.

Our Spring Membership Drive is in full swing and we want to celebrate it with you!

Sign up as a sustaining NWTA member (e.g. an auto-renewing membership) by 6 p.m. on May 28 and you’ll be entered into our membership drawing for some sweet prizes!

Already a member and not feeling like switching to an auto-renewing membership?  You can still get an entry if your membership is current and you bring a non-member with you who signs up at the meeting!
