Event description

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL.

THANKS FOR THE GREAT VOLUNTEER RESPONSE.

75+ PEOPLE WILL BE CONVERGING ON STUB THIS WEEKEND TO DO TACKLE MULTIPLE TRAIL PROJECTS.

Time to RSVP so we can plan the logistics (food, beer, work crews).

If you are looking for an easy and fun trail dig with lots of rewards, THIS is the one!

Need 40 volunteers to start and COMPLETE in single day a brand new short beginner skill loop (name TBD) near the entrance of the north MTB Area.  It’ll be ideal little loop for bike handling classes (intermediate level).  We will VOTE on the name of this new loop to submit to park for new maps (“coming soon”!), so that’s a bonus for moving some dirt with us… YOU will get to choose the name of this brand new trail only if you come to this event (we have 3 to choose from – “Macarroni Loop”, “Hoot-nanny Loop”, “Brush monkey”).

There is also need for 10 additional volunteers to help with dialing in Shoofly and Cross Tie for the upcoming Lap Quest event the following weekend.

Special note – Every year Portland Design Works (PDW) selects one trail they focus their efforts on. Last year it was Falls Creek (a big trail project and campout). For 2017, PDW selected Stub. On behalf of all who ride Stub, we are excited about partnering with PDW.

Things to look forward to:
– Portland Design Works (PDW) is providing the tasty grub
– HUB Brewing is providing the tasty beverages
– Sponsors such as Fat Tire Farm are donating swag for the volunteer raffle
