Event description

The Oregon Department of Forestry is hosting a work party May 13th, from 9:30am to 2pm. The meet-up is at Rogers Camp Trailhead, the trail head for the Historic Hiking Trail (a/k/a Browns Camp Loop). You’ll find a trail map here and directions to the trailhead there.

The event is open to beginning and experienced trail workers alike. You need only bring the proper clothing (helmet, eye protection, boots and gloves, please) and whatever snacks may be necessary to see you to the end of the trail. Tools will be provided, but if you have a McLeod with separation anxiety, feel free to bring it along.

The work party will be led by Roger Warren of the ODF. Contact Roger at (503) 359-7466 or roger.warren@oregon.gov for answers to your questions or to simply tip him off that you’ll be there (always a nice gesture).
