Event description

(UPDATE 10/11/2016: Trail inspected by park trail ranger and it’s officially… OPEN!)

We need your help wrapping up construction of new section of trail to re-route Barberchair.  Easy work for all skill levels (family friendly!)
Need 20 volunteers on October 9th @ 9am to complete trail work and open new trail!

What are we going to do? Here’s a 5-minute VIDEO WALK-THRU TOUR AND CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS by lead trail volunteer:  https://vimeo.com/184213799

Goal is to put finishing work on completing ~400 yards of brand new single track trail.   Major work has already been done using NWTA’s trail digging machines thru a Recreation Trails Program grant.  Remaining work needs hand finishing crew to remove roots, clear duff, and tidy up the backslope.

Your work counts towards NWTA’s matching requirement on RTP grant.
