Event description

You’re the folks who made 2017 happen. Thank you!

Words don’t do justice to your efforts, so here’s our final 2017 event: a Volunteer Appreciation Party. On the evening of December 5th, we’re opening up the Lumberyard for you and your family. If you’ve volunteered with us any time during 2017, in any capacity, you’re invited. Not a member? As long as you signed a work party waiver with us, you’re in!

If you’re new to the scene at the Lumberyard, don’t worry, coaching is part of the package, as are rental bikes and protective gear. And if you’re already riding and lovin’ the Lumberyard, sign up for a membership that evening and the activation fee gets waived! Still wobbly from your last blast at Sandy Ridge? No worries, just come and get social before dropping in to the remaining holidays. Pulehu Pizza is on site to feed the famished and quench the thirst with their artisan offerings.

Please register below so we have a headcount for cake and swag!

Everyone who comes to ride at the Lumberyard must have a signed digital waiver on file. Those under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the digital waiver before riding. This can easily be done via the onsite kiosk or online.

Thoughts to consider:
Bring your helmets!  Bring your own bike if possible; Mountain bikes, DJ bikes (Dirt Jumper), push bikes (strider) and BMX bikes are best suited for the venue; Road bikes are not ideal.  Rental bikes are available on first come first serve basis, but we and Lumberyard, cannot reserve rental bikes ahead of time.  No training wheels are allowed, Lumberyard also does not recommend baskets, streamers, etc on kids bikes for safety reasons.  Lumberyard allows scooters in the downstairs “Bunker”, so if your kids prefer to scooter instead of ride bikes, bring their scooters (and helmets).  For more information on the Basics at lumberyard, please visit their First Time Visitors page at http://www.lumberyardmtb.com/first-time-visitors/
