Another great idea. I have ridden in this area before, mainly hitting the jumps that motorcyles had made there. theres a nice hill coming down into that area to zoom down. it would be nice to make some trails there. :D
I'll be going up to the Collonade late winter/early spring
I'm going back for a refresher intermediate class. If enough people are interested and committed (6), I'm sure that we can get a dedicated class to us. They cost $30 for members (need to verify), $60 for non members.
The class goes over general handling skills, jumping, hopping, turning, positioning, etc. The intent is not to get big air or anything, but do what you are doing with good form. Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.
Get a hold of me off line, it will require prepayment and preferable an overnight in Seattle. Go up after work on Friday, play in the evening, take the class the next morning, come back.
