Bike Rental

I am new to Mountain Biking and would like to buy a new bike, but don't know where to start our how to know what is right for me. Is it possible to rent bikes to try (like skis)? If so, who does this?

Start with your local bike shop

Congratulations on making your first bike step into a life of freedom, outdoor adventure, and new passon that will last a lifetime.

As for choosing a bike, contact a local bike shop for advice. Most all of them have a demos available to rent.  And most have a program where if you buy a new bike from them they will apply the cost of the rental toward the purchase.
