City of Portland/Portland Police Bureau bicycle auction?

This is something I've wondered about, coming from other cities that had widely publicized auctions of bicycles that ended up as the property of the city.

I've done a few quick internet searches, but they all ended without any answers.  Haven't pursued with the City...  was hoping someone might know the answer here.

Does anyone know if the City or PPB holds a bicycle auction, or how they get rid of bicycles they acquire?

Portland Police Department

I called the Portland Police Department and they said that all of their vehicle surplus goes to the state which can be accessed here.

The State of Oregon auctions surplus or confiscated property on eBay.  They regularly post bicycles.
