NWTA info signs?

I met a couple of guys out on Sandy Ridge last Friday.  They were really into it but new to town and didn't know about NWTA at all.  They asked me where to find out about other trails so I pointed them this way, but I think it might be nice whenever possible if signage at the trailheads also had information about where to find this website.

For all of you looking for

For all of you looking for ways to spread our word... Signage at the Trail Head is superb!

Both for the increased awareness to our Mtn. Bike brethren and memberships, as well as educating the other "advocacy groups" that are unaware of ALL the good things our group does.

This could be that "bridging" of the gap, that the wonderful woman who spoke at the last club meeting - yah know the one that created the strong rally amongst the club... was referring to.

Seeing that we likely won't/can't get other groups to provide positive press these days about all the work NWTA does... this might in fact be a very good chance for us to provide our own!

Just a thought!

Signage in the works

I believe Zach at BLM already has a signage plan in the works for SRB, which will include NWTA logo/info.  But it would be great to have this at other trailheads as well.  Of course, we have to have permission from the land manager.

On a related note regarding L.L. Stub Stewart State Park...

The kiosk at the access point to mountain biking area will include NWTA / W.T.F. logos and URL to websites.   We'll also be posting our scheduled build days on the kiosk.

It will also have a large map of trails in the park and highlighting the mountain biking specific trails and freeride skill area trails (once those are built and opened after next build season).
