Molalla River Trail System closure

Timber harvest in the Molalla River Trail system is prompting a temporary closure to all recreational access.

Per Zach Jarrett, Lead Outdoor Recreation Planner for the BLM, "While the single track trails have been closed since late fall, there is now a temporary closure on the forest road sections of the system that are typically open year round.

Timber harvest activity associated with the Annie’s Cabin timber sale began last week and is scheduled to take place until the Spring of 2011, upon which time portions of the trail system will open back up for seasonal use."
