Current Trail Building News from Westside Trail Federation

The single-track in mountain biking zone at L.L. Stub Stewart State Park (Hwy 47 between Banks and Vernonia) is still very much "under construction" and not yet open for the public to ride.   We do need all the help we can get building the single-track trails (click here for overview map after last build day ).  It's in "phase 1" building (with expectation that phase 2 and 3 will continue construction of single-track down the Hares Canyon to connect with other existing share-used trails within the Park and possibly to Banks-Vernonia Linear Trail which passes thru the park).   Note: There is a separate project underway to plan technical skill trails and skill area in mountain biking zone.  (no timeline)

** Sign-in at 9am at Clayhill Horse Staging area in park (stop at Welcome Center for a map), tools provided by Parks & Recreation, bring gloves/lunch/water  **
