Ape Canyon Trail Work Party

The Growlers Gulch Trail Crew will be doing some work on the Ape Canyon Trail and need some extra bodies!  The upper portion of the trail is in need of some brushing out and other general maintenance work.

They will be meeting at the Ape Canyon trailhead parking lot at 8:00A, which means you should leave the Portland area no later than about 6:15A to arrive in time.  Early, yes, but when it comes to maintaining one of the best trails around, what's the issue of getting up at dawn on a Saturday to the trail?

If you plan on going, please let Jim know.  Please bring loppers, shovels or rakes.  And plan on having a great time with a great bunch of people from Longview.

Althought those two trees are no longer there, the brush is, and it's gotten bigger since the two trees were taken out last month by an NWTA work crew.
