Forest Park Outreach Session

Join us at the second of four outreach sessions we are holding in Forest Park this summer.  Help us connect with cyclists and other trail users in Forest Park.  Be an ambassador for bicycles in Forest Park.

NWTA and Portland Parks and Recreation recently signed a new Trail Management Agreement, which going forward will be the framework for all our trail care and outreach activities in Forest Park.

We will be meeting a 9am at the Top of Firelane 7.

These outreach sessions will educate cyclists and hikers about:

  • approved cycling activities and corridors in the Park (we'll hand out updated cycling maps of Forest Park);
  • planning efforts that are currently in progress to address off-road cycling in Forest Park and the Portland Area;
  • how citizens can get involved in protecting the health of Forest Park through Portland Parks and Recreation, the Forest Park Conservancy and Northwest Trail Alliance.
