Going out to Tilly to do the Gales, Storey, Historic loop.
Meet at Gateway Transit Center at 9am.
We will then swing through sunset transit center 10470 SW Barnes Rd on the way out of town by about 9:30 or so
I listed it Intermediate, no one left behind, but be aware there is some fair amount of climbing, quite a bit of technical, and some length.
Should be a fun day with some options for bailing if needed.

starting from Gales Creek?
Are you going to start out of Gales Creek?
My wife wants to go hiking while I bike, but I'd have to start from Gales Creek - she wants to hike with the dog on the logging rodes around Gales Creek campground.

Gales is closed
Better check because Gales has been closed all year. If there is not tape across the trail head like I found look around because someone tore it down. My buddy went up and found that two miles up the trail there are three giant slides starting 100+ feet above the trail. Portage was not an option. Story and Historic could be linked with browns and make for a great full day. Good wet fun Saturday. I'll be doing the Mt. Hood Gonzo Shuttle 30mi. Have fun.

Yeh, he must mean Gales Creek up Storey Burn, then into the HHT loop.
But here are some photos of the
washed out sections of the Gale's Creek Trail taken last September. This isn't even the widest part of the washouts.

Meet Location
I think it makes more sense to meet at the Sunset Transit Center (10470 SW Barnes Rd). Gateway is the opposite direction for those of us that live on the west side.
