Friends of Powell Butte Meeting Update 10/15/09

The October Friends of Powell Butte meeting was last week at the caretakers house. As always there are some exciting things happening with the Butte. Here are some things you should know:

-Signs for the winter closure self management plan should be going up in a few weeks. As the rainy season has already arrived please stay off the Butte when muddy.

-The Water Bureau is providing tours of the reservoir construction site. Let me know if you are interested and I will put you in touch.

-As of Sunday the 25th the gate hours will be 7 AM to 6 PM

The next Friends meeting is November 19th.
Next work party is November 14th.
