Lewis River Trail Ride.

Wish fall goodbye, say hello to winter on one last ride on the Lewis River Trail during 2009.

The weather forecast currently calls for scattered rain for Sunday - between storms on Saturday and Monday.

Carpoolers from Portland should meet at 7:30A at my residence at 6203 s.e. 92nd - three blocks from the Foster Road stop and the I-205 Foster Road exit. 

We will meet Jerry DeRuyter at the lower Lewis River trailhead parking lot at 9:30A.  Andrea has a new bike she needs to ride!

Hope you had a good ride.  Saturday night noticed my derailleur was folded into the spokes.  Must of happened when I was moving stuff around the basement.  Didn't have inet access to post or call.  I txted jordan, hope he was able to tell you.

A Fun Ride Was Had by All

A fun time was had by all.  We rode as far as the 'overlook', ~7 miles in and back out.  A few rain showers didn't dampen our enthusiasm, or Andrea's maiden voyage on her new Pivot!  The trail is in good condition - only one small tree down, mud puddles. 

There's a chance I may go back up there on Sunday to get some photos of all the waterfalls that I didn't get photos of this past Sunday.
