Lewis River waterfall photography ride

Date:
Sun, 11/29/2009 - 7:45am - 3:30pm

The weather forecast is calling for decent weather for Sunday!  So, let's get up and get some photographs of some of the waterfalls along the Lewis River Trail.  Dennis claims he can ride slow - especially since he's taking his camera!  This will be a leasurely paced ride with frequent photographic stops - especially above the Bolt Camp Shelter.  The waterfalls along the trail are running pretty full right now with our recent run of wet weather.  total distance will be 12 to 14 miles.  If you've never ridden the trail and want to take your time exploring it, now is your chance!

Dress warmly, and bring dry clothes to change in to at the end of the ride.  There are a few smaller stream crossings where you may get wet feet!

Meet at my residence: 6203 SE 92nd Ave (south of 92nd & Foster), two blocks from the Foster MAX stop and Foster Road Exit off I-205, at 7:45 to leave town about 8:00A.

Our second meeting place will be the parking lot at the lower trailhead at 10:00A.  The end time is our estimated return time at the trailhead, with a return time to Portland of 6'ish, if we don't stop for a bite to eat on our way home.
