$100 total for 3 days of shuttling (see breakdown below). Free beer provided by Hopworks. We will take care of 3 camping spots but any additional cars over 3 will need to pay an additional car fee. First come first serve. I will be there about 2pm on Thursday the 12th:
It's going to be 95 degrees this weekend so come prepared.
Staying at Blue Pool CG:
http://www.hoodoo.com/Willamette_National_Forest/Oakridge_Area/Blue_Pool.htm
Event is limited to 20 participants for the shuttles. But as many that want to can come and camp and if we hit the cap, they can do their own thing.
Everyone needs to sign up, but there's a $20 online non refundable registration deposit in order for those who have signed up to secure their spots for the shuttle reservations. You will need to login to both 'sign up', and to add the item to the cart and pay. This will be applied to the shuttle services.
Let me know if you're only doing a couple of select shuttles to allow more to join.
This is not for the faint of heart, if you have any doubt, then train hard. Read last years writeup and notice the mileage and elevation. It's a lot of shuttling, but downhill isn't free, and there's still a lot of climbing.

Arrive Thursday, set up, maybe do a short ride.
FRIDAY 8:30am sharp and 'in the saddle' ready (SPACE AVAILABLE) $30 Riding a gonzo shuttle with intermediate bailout. Alpine to Tire Mountain to Winberry. Pushing 30mi if we make some wrong turns again. Meet here: Boat Launch
We'll have some free burgers and dogs for friday evening for anyone who wants to partake.
SATURDAY 10am (SPACE AVAILABLE) $35 Riding a gonzo shuttle with intermediate options. Middle Fork Willamette with an optional Indigo Lake climb and cutting off middle fork early to do a Moon Point Shuttle. Randy will shuttle us to the top of Moon Point for an additional $100 split between participants. He will wait for us after our MFW ride to take us to the top. This is in addition to the MFW $35 fee. If we decide to, we could shuttle ourselves but I don't suggest it after that kind of a ride. Another 30+ mile day.
SATURDAY NIGHT Potluck.
SUNDAY 11am (SPACE AVAILABLE) $35 Riding a gonzo shuttle with intermediate options. Lawler and Hardesty.
LAST MINUTE INFO!

It’ll be HOT
I (dennis) will not be available after noon on Thursday for questions

I'm fully committed and
I'm fully committed and paid in full, will be riding down with Brooke.
Couple questions...
I'm doing all 3 shuttles, will I owe $80, $100 less the $20 deposit, or do I owe $100.
The potluck...Is there a theme?
Deposit is applied to the
Deposit is applied to the $100 shuttle (or whatever combination you choose). So if you were to do all 3, then you would need to bring $80.

carpool
I've got full size xcab truck with canopy and 4 bike rack. Live in Tigard right off Durham exit I-5, so on the way for most anyone. I'm taking Thursday off, so could leave then or Friday morning.have lots of room and lots of safe parking at my house
We should all count off with who's got a ride, who needs a ride, etc to avoid a ton of cars down there. Bill
OROR itenary
Dennis, I really like Matt's suggested itnerary with Alpine on Saturday (day 2). I'm willing to help out with any coordination relating to this change.

Good thinkin...
Ted and Matt
Let's talk about this itenerary change tonight. Interesting idea, and although my first thought is no, I want to do the same thing as last year, I have no reason other than resistance to change. What Matt is saying sounds like a lot of fun. Lower MFW has some burn, so maybe we could do a partial MFW and then Moon Point as lower MFW is really fairly tame.
I'm open for discussion as long as we all have fun, and previously registered attendees are open to the adjustment.
Matt, make sure to read last years writeup if you haven't already as your suggesting some rides we did... Somewhat.
I'm also discussing the Bunchgrass epic for saturday with a guide considering MFW. There's still decisions to make.

Beware the Council of Aarons!
Not kidding. Anything the 3 Aarons find amusing will kick your A$$.
Best OROR itenary:
Day 1: Moon Point shuttle / Larrison Creek out'n'back / multiple Larrison Rock laps (use a stopwatch - loser buys beers at Brewer's Union)
Day 2: Epic Alpine / Tire Mtn / Winberry. Awesome ride; worth paying Randy to shuttle. Make sure and load the shuttle pick-up rig w/ post-ride freshies and bathing suits / towels.
Day 3: Double Shuttle! Hauler or Lardesty - depending on preferences.
Think it thru. Even the S&M climbers will love this itenerary! ...and if you do it right, you will have broken camp and will be halfway to Eugene as you finish Sunday's ride.
Sweet!
Dennis - I just looked at the photos from last year and I quickly remembered the HUGE smile that I had on my face that lasted for a week following the event. I am soooooo ready for another NWTA Oakridge adventure! Thanks for hosting it again this year.
Note to everyone -
This is NOT an easy three days of riding. The trails, the pace, and milage will really challenge you. Make sure that you prepare. This is an event for Advanced / Gonzo riders. At the end of the event last year I was "cooked." And as Doug V would say, "I used up all my quarters on that one."
Ted D
Looking forward to it again this year!
Thanks for organizing this 2nd Annual event. Good times.
