*New* Sandy Ridge Trail Work Dates
Good weather and multiple requests for more trail work days at the Sandy Ridge Trails has prompted additional trail work days for Sandy Ridge, in addition to our scheuduled Trail Work Party & Discovery Ride as part of our Portland Trail Fest. Please join us at these events, which are co-hosted with our trail partners the Salem District Bureau of Land Management and the International Mountain Biking Association.
First, we've added an official Trail Work Party for Saturday, March 20th, the first of the season for the Sandy Ridge Trail System. March your calendars, come throw some dirt and then ride your bike on this great trail system.
Second, this Friday, March 12th, our land manager partner for
this trail, the BLM, could use some extra strong hands working on the
creek crossing. If you can provide a few hours of help, meet at 9:00AM
at the Homestead Road entrance.

Thanks
Cool, thanks for that info. I'll plan on being there this Saturday to help with the bridge work.
Friday is the creek crossing day (not Saturday)
Hey motomike, just a heads up that the creek crossing work is this Friday, March 12th, not Saturday.
As I understand it, there is not a bridge ready to put in, but rather some other work will be done to make the crossing more manageable. Hope you can still make it.
Thanks,
-Tom
yeah, thats what I meant
yeah, thats what I meant haha. That sounds fine, looks like there is still quite a bit of work even without the bridge to put in...
Thanks
Thanks for getting out there... The BLM was appreciative of the additional help last Friday.
