A message from our partners in Forest Park, the Forest Park Conservancy

trillium

Greetings and happy spring to each of you, our dedicated volunteer corps.  In case you haven't gotten out latesly, the slopes of Forest Park are now more or less covered in trillium. Beyond that, we have a fine week of spring weather ahead of us. The Forest Park Day of Stewardship is happening this Saturday - and while we are already approaching 200 volunteers we do still have space for a few more of you. The event is going to be followed by another great celebration/appreciation party, complete with food, libations (for those over 21), and the ever popular gear raffle. We hope that you can join us.

Forest Park Day of Stewardship

Saturday, March 20th, 9 am to 1 pm

Join us for our third annual spring Day of Stewardship in Forest Park - a chance to get outside, enjoy the spring, meet new folks, and give back to Forest Park. We will be continuing our ongoing habitat restoration work at four separate sites in Forest Park. In keeping with tradition, the event will be followed by a volunteer appreciation party, with food, beverages and a raffle. Many thanks to our site hosts and sponsors: PGE, Keen Footwear, REI, and West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District.
