Stub is dialed in

It was another huge weekend for L.L. Stub Stewart (aka Stub).

75+ volunteers turned out to do trail work.  Several projects were completed including the creation of a new beginner trail, a major trail re-route of Shoofly, and other bonus trail work.

Thank You to Portland Design Work, PDW was the main event sponsor who provided (and cooked) the BBQ lunch for our small army.  In addition, PDW supplied swag for the volunteer raffle, which was a nice reward at the end of the day.

Thank You is also extended to Starbuck crew who made our event their community service project.   They served coffee in the morning as well as helped us build the new beginner trail.

Joe Rykowski and David Rogers were instrumental in preparing for this event.  Cutting the new Shoofly re-route with the ST240, staging tools, and multiple other pre-planning activities, while also serving as leaders of this event.

Thank you to our Crew Leaders: Brent Sullivan, Dennis Veatch, Calvin Brawner + additional team leaders who managed various projects.

This volunteer project racked 500+ volunteer hours + 150 Pre-work hours. Not a bad way to enjoy a sunny day and give back to the trails we love to ride.

A common sight at L.L. Stub Stewart, but something that is not seen within the Portland city limits.

Morning set up.  Special thanks to Colin Marthaller for towing the NWTA tool trailer and helping stage the tools.
