NWTA Women's Ride

Where:  Growler's Gulch

When:  Saturday, February 25

The ride will start at 10am and will last approximately 3 hours.  The trails are dirt singletrack in the trees with roots and log-overs.  This is a rain or shine event, so come prepared!  

Bring:  Helmet, water, food, spare tube and a bike in good repair

If you know your way to the gate, meet us there and be ready to ride at 10am.  If you would like to follow Debbie to the gate, please email her at debbiec@nw-trail.org

Ladies, join us for a little winter riding in the Gorge

When:  Saturday, January 7, 2012

Where:  Hospital Hill in White Salmon, WA

Time:  TH at 10am.  Plan for a 3 hour ride; Distance to be determined by group pace

This is an intermediate ride on marginally technical though mostly smooth single track.  All riders must be aerobically fit as there is climbing.  Susan will be leading this ride and says she can make a ride that is mostly protected from the wind.

Weather looks good, take it while you can!


We are pushing the December ride to this Friday at 6:15-


Ask any of the25 people who were there last Friday, it was a blast.  Trail rides great at night and no way to get lost.


We will have a fire again so you can dry your back and cook your weenie after the ride. (bring meat to grill and a long stick)

DimWits with Bright Lights Night Ride

Join us for the first Friday Night Dimwits with Bright Lights Ride at the new Cascade Locks easyClimb trail.  We hope to make this a regular Friday night ride over the winter, weather permitting... We plan to have a bonfire, so bring a chair to hang out afterwards.  Weather forecast is looking decent so hopefully you can make it.

Helens Fest III

Helens Fest III. 

Located at the Marble Mountain Snow Park on the south side of Mount St Helens in the Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument, Gifford Pinchot National Forest.  A mountain bike festival of stewardship and riding the trails; we ride two days and perform trail maintenance on Saturday.  Rides offered will be advanced beginner to advanced level.

Back country camping; bring your: food, water, shelter and weather appropriate clothing.

The Trek demo mountain bike fleet will be there!
