Tillamook State Forest Trail Work Party, Volunteer Recognition BBQ, and Mountain Bike Ride (event)
Submitted by Ryan_K on Fri, 09/11/2009 - 12:03pm.I am leading the non-motorized trail work party for the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) in the Tillamook State Forest tomorrow. Following the work party there is a volunteer recognition BBQ potluck hosted by ODF at the Smith Homestead facility. And, following that, I am probably going to lead a downhill moutain bike shuttle ride on the newly sanctioned downhill mountain bike trail out of Reheers Campground.

We will meet at 9:30am at the Forestry Center off Highway 6 in the Tillamook Forest and ride at 10am. We will ride the easy portion of the Wilson River Trail as an out and back. The pace of the ride will be set by the attendees and is intended to be a fun introduction to singletrack riding.

Sorry Harmony, you were always going so fast that you blurred. ;)
I usually take more pictures, but instead concentrated on sweating!
Ryan, that was great! Thank you so much for putting the show together.
