Comment period now open on Timberline Ski Area Mountain Bike Trails and Skills Park Proposal

The Mount Hood National Forest is now accepting comments on the Timberline Ski Area Mountain Bike Trails and Skills Park Proposal. This 30 day comment period will be the public's only chance to submit comments. They are working on the final decision and your comments are very important. The proposal will include 17 miles of downhill trails and a skills park at Timberline.

Stub freeride area volunteer work

Stub Stewart State Park: Freeride area build day 



Saturday, January 29 2011, 8:00am - 2:00pm



Tools provided. Bring gloves, water, and snacks. We will be working on the "session" (push-up trail to the top of the Freeride Area) and clearing the corridors for the Freeride trails. You heard that right, clearing the Freeride trail corridors! Dress appropriately.



Location: L.L. Stub Stewart State Park



Check-in at Welcome Center at 8:00am is followed by personal/tool safety talk and overview of tasks to be done this day. Please arrive on time! If you can't make it on time, notify crew leader.
