The first ever Bend Super D
is on!! Sunday, September 19th, starting at Wanoga Sno-park will be
Bend's first gravity focused all mountain race. It is an individually
timed format race with one minute intervals between racers.
The course is 8 miles long with only 300 ft of climbing. It has almost 1,500 feet of descending and
travels down the trail Funner then goes down Lower Storm King and ends
just before Conklin Rd. There will be shuttled practice runs from 8am
til 10am and race runs start at 11am. CogWild will be offering shuttles
on Saturday if you'd like more practice.
We recently received approval from the Forest Service and are in our
final stages of gathering sponsors we will have $7500 in cash and
