Tarbell Trail Conditions

Rode Tarbell trail yesterday, 5/2/09. Trail is very very muddy with many areas still covered with snow. The snow covered areas are small though and most are rideable. There are also several downed trees in the clear cut areas that you have to hike-a-bike around. The trail is a lot rockier then last spring. Most of the trail had a run-off creek running down it that made the rocks very slippery!

Tarbell Loop

Date:
Sun, 10/12/2008 - 7:00am - 1:00pm

Cecily and I are planning to ride the Tarbell Loop in SW Washington. We'll meet at the Gateway Transit Center at 8:00 as well. Or you can meet us at the Rock Creek Campground at 9:00. This will be an intermediate to advanced ride due to length and amount of climbing.
See you there.

Tarbell Loop

Date:
Sat, 09/13/2008 - 7:00am - 4:00pm

Approximately 22 to 25 mile loop.  Begins with a six-mile strenuous climb then is a mix of rolling hills, and some short climbs.  There is a section of baby heads and some larger rock to traverse on a fast and reasonably steep descent.  This is not a beginners ride.  You need solid skills and at least moderate aerobic capacity.
