Has anyone ridden 15 Mile creek recently? I'm wondering if it is clear from downed trees yet?

Sunday Springtime Sojourn at Syncline (event)

05/30/2010 - 10:03am
05/30/2010 - 2:02pm

Given the amount of rain of of late, we have decided that this weekend would be the best option for the ultrarad SSS@S ride.  Meet us in the Syncline parking lot at 10am to ride the mud-free, rocky sections of Syncline.  We will ride the Little Maui and Little Moab trails.  We will hit grab some food or beverages afterwards in Hood River.  If you have any questions feel free to email me: brian@nw-trail.org

Cheers!

Hi everybody!

I've been wanting to race SuperD for a long time now, and this weekend is my first chance!  I'm on the fence on going alone and looking to team up to save gas money, ride the course, and to camp out and have a good time Saturday night.

Hood River Trail Suggestions! (forum)

So after a lot of almosts and time spent on Craigslist I am finally going to throw the money down and buy an all mountain bike.

On Saturday I am renting a Niner in hood river ... I am looking for some suggestions on good trails in the area to test the bike out. My skill level is Newbie (advance newbie if such a thing exists) …  when back in Cali I hit the trails with the old crew and have spent a couple weekends at Ski Bowl).

I any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Also, if your out there and want to ride with that would be chill.

Hospital Hill - cattle & dogs (blog)

A friendly reminder.

Kreps Ranch will be turning cows out on their property, known as Hospital Hill. The first

trucks will be there March 26, 2010. As posted

by gates there are NO Dogs allowed in the pasture from now until July--No Dogs even on leashes.

Please keep all gates closed. They are again posting NO Parking at the corral area on Spring Street/Barnedt Road. That is a county road, but the parking around that area is mostly on private property. The reason for posting the No Parking signs, Ranch trucks and trailers take a lot of

room to park and to turn around. The Ranch

owners will be down there off and on throughout the cows stay on Hospital Hill.

The cows are usually a bit scared when they first get to their new pasture. If you are up there, stop, let the cows wander off, this is their place. As most of us know, by the time Ranch gathers them they hardly notice a mountain bike or hiker. Be respectful, this is private property.
