Stub is dialed in

It was another huge weekend for L.L. Stub Stewart (aka Stub). 75+ volunteers turned out to do trail work.  Several projects were completed including the creation of a new beginner trail, a major trail re-route of Shoofly, and other bonus trail work. Scappose Access Pass On Sale May 16th

The access pass for Scappose goes on sale May 16th at 7pm on the www.wyrecreation.com website.  The trails along the south side of Rocky Point road require this pass and are $75 for a year.  Because pass sales were low last year at this special location they have decided to recombine the area into larger parcel

Developing riding skills aids the advocacy and trail building aspects of our mission. Say what? How? Offering skills development facilities engenders formal and informal coaching. REI has generously donated $10,000 to relocate and reconstruct Stub Stewart’s Williams Creek Trail. This multi-user trail is located on the west side of the Banks-Vernonia Trail, along Brooke Creek. Successful workday at SRT

On Saturday 40+ people volunteered to help do trail maintenance on the Sandy Ridge Trail. A big thank you goes to Brent Sullivan for organizing, to the crew leaders (Tom Slovak, Shane Gould, Tom Archer, Steve Swearingen, and Scott Sutterer) and to all the hard working volunteers that made the event a success.
