Overview
Purpose of NWTA Trail Development Partnership Program (TDPP) beyond serving as the interface between public agencies and organizations is as follows:
- enable partners to stretch project dollars
- reduce volunteer burnout
- help increase member retention by exciting mountain biking community
- provide cross-trained expert resources to aid with trail projects
- lead to more trail on ground sooner which can be enjoyed by all

Program Timeline
2009
- 10/2009 Board approves letter of intent to seek RTP grant funding for start of project to purchase equipment for use/rental to third-party partners
2010
- 01/2010 RTP grant application submitted for 2010
- 05/2010 Award letter and notice to proceed
- 06/2010 Selection of initial pilot partners (IMBA Trail Solutions, Oregon Department of Forestry, Oregon Parks & Recreation Department, Black Rock Mountain Bike Association, Westside Trail Federation)
2011
- 06/2011 Single Track Tools delivers NWTA ST240 to Stub Stewart State Park
- 06/2011 1st rental to Oregon Department of Forestry for use on trail project in Tillamook State Forest
- 07/2011 Initial volunteer operator training sessions along with partner operators - hosted at Stub State Park
- 10/2011 Pilot phase ends
- 10/2011 Letter of intent filed for 2012 RTP grant - project for purchase of additional support equipment recommended by partners during pilot
- 11/2011 **trailer and ST240 stolen**
- 12/2011 ST240 recovered by Oregon State Police
2012
- 01/2012 RTP grant application submitted for 2012
- 07/2012 Wilson River Trail work near Keenig Creek by ODF operator
- 09/2012 Henry Hagg Lake elk field re-routes by NWTA volunteer operator
- 10/2012 Stub Stewart State Park north mountain bike area connector trail to south (down to Genzer creek)
