DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun-filled day with Veterans and supporters as we honor those who have served. This is a group MTB ride and BBQ social. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis is a no-drop\, social group ride where all skill and fitness levels are welcome!  \n\n\n\nDepending on group size\, we’ll break into smaller groups\, with intermediate/advanced riders having the option for a more challenging ride (new CLocks trail).  \n\n\n\nBottom line: come prepared for a great time\, lots of laughter\, and as much riding as you can handle! \n\n\n\nSign Up to receive more event details and to ensure we have enough food for everyone. \n\n\n\nActivities:\n\n\n\n\nGroup gathering to recognize our Veterans\n\n\n\nSocial ride (beginner to intermediate skill and fitness level)\n\n\n\nBBQ and social gathering after the ride\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a day of riding\, fun\, and gratitude!

DESCRIPTION:NWTA’s Trail Sustainability Institute will be hosting Trail School at Cascade Locks. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTrail School teaches the fundamental skills needed to maintain our trails. Participants will be learning safety techniques and tool identification/uses\, as well as hands-on training of corridor clearing\, drainage\, tread repair and benchwork. \n\n\n\nNorthwest Trail Alliance’s Trail Sustainability Institute’s goal is to foster a culture of land stewardship within the mountain bike community. By training people to build sustainable trails\, and by training people to lead crews of trail builders\, we are raising the level of our own stewardship\, and increasing our capacity to build and maintain quality trails. \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE \n\n\n\nWhat to wear: \n\n\n\n– Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\n– Jacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\n– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\n– Gloves \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n– Water \n\n\n\n– Snacks \n\n\n\n– Lunch \n\n\n\nSTART time is 9am. Please have yourself and your gear ready by that time. This in-person event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who love to get their hands dirty and contribute to the local mountain biking community. Whether you’re a seasoned trail builder or a newbie\, everyone is welcome to lend a hand and make a difference. We’ll provide the tools and guidance\, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to work as a team.
