DESCRIPTION:Join us at DIG DAY for a fun day of trail maintenance and construction – let’s get our hands dirty and make a difference together! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin us for a thrilling day of trail building and maintenance in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area! This in-person event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who love to get their hands dirty and contribute to the local mountain biking community. Whether you’re a seasoned trail builder or a newbie\, everyone is welcome to lend a hand and make a difference. We’ll provide the tools and guidance\, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to work as a team. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to give back to the trails we love! \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\n\nWork clothes: long sleeve shirt\, long pants (no shorts)\, sturdy boots\, gloves\, eye protection\n\n\n\nJacket for changing weather and rain (be prepared)\n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)\n\n\n\nWater\n\n\n\nSnacks\n\n\n\nLunch\n\n\n\nOptional: Favorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own).\n\n\n\n\nTime and Place\n\n\n\n\n9:30 am – 2:30 pm at Wyeth Rd outside of Cascade Locks\n\n\n\nMap: https://maps.app.goo.gl/qFvXR5vPTvUKuUWt7\n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 5 hours\, wrapping up at 2:30\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates — This is our second of 6 work days this dig season:\n\n\n\n\n(past) Saturday\, Nov 22\n\n\n\n(past) Saturday\, Dec 20\n\n\n\n(past) Saturday\, Jan 10\n\n\n\n(past) Saturday\, Feb 21\n\n\n\n(past) Saturday\, Mar 21\n\n\n\nSaturday\, Apr 11\n\n\n\nFri/Sat/Sun\, May 1\,2\,3 – Celebration Camp\n\n\n\n\nTiming\n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9:30 am. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in.
