Help build and maintain the amazing trails of the Rocky Point Trail System. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a thrilling day of trail building and maintenance at Rocky Point! This in-person event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who love to get their hands dirty and contribute to the local mountain biking community. Whether you’re a seasoned trail builder or a newbie\, everyone is welcome to lend a hand and make a difference. We’ll provide the tools and guidance\, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to work as a team. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to give back to the trails we love!  \n\n\n\n9 am – 1 pm at Rocky Point Trails \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 4 hours\, wrapping up at 1:00. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own). \n\n\n\nOptional: Folding Handsaw \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. DESCRIPTION:Join us and our friends at Portland Parks & Recreation & partners Hands on Greater Portland for a fun day of trail work at Powell Butte. \n\n\n\n\nPOSTPONED\n\n\n\n\nJoin NWTA\, Portland Parks & Recreation\, and partners Hands on Greater Portland for a day of trail work at Powell Butte. \n\n\n\nWhere to Meet \n\n\n\nThis event has been postponed due to the weather forecast and will be rescheduled at a later date. \n\n\n\nScope of Work \n\n\n\nNo experience is necessary\, and all ages are welcome! All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present and sign our waiver forms. \n\n\n\nWear sturdy\, close-toed shoes\, long pants\, and long-sleeved shirts. Bring rain gear and/or sun gear\, a hat\, a filled water bottle\, and snacks. Bring gloves if you have a pair and prefer to use your own. Instruction\, tools\, and gloves are otherwise provided. \n\n\n\nYou will walk up to 5 miles from the meeting location and restrooms\, so please be ready to hike.
