A full day of digging\, Lunch by Cyclepath\, raffle and riding. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nTime8:45 meet / 9:30 – 1:00 work / 1:00 Lunch \n\n\n\nMeeting LocationRocky Point Mid Gate / 20955\, 23999 Rocky Point Rd\, Scappoose\, OR 97056 \n\n\n\nSummary of work goalsThe crew at Cyclepath are hosting a dig day to get Stumpocalypse ready to roll again this summer. Jack from Emerald will be guiding the work with our crew leads\, we will be tuning up all the jumps\, fixing drainage and getting the trail in great shape for the riding season.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll work all morning\, then break for lunch at 1:00 pm\, then have a raffle at 1:30pm with a chance to win a Transition Dirt Jumper\, post raffle we’ll ride! \n\n\n\nGear SuggestionsSturdy hiking soles will help with traction as the clear cut can be very slick in the wet. Be prepared for mud and make sure you wear good gloves. Bring a backpack or bag with water\, snacks\, and anything else you may need. \n\n\n\nWill food be provided?Cyclepath will be running the grill \n\n\n\nWill we be riding after?Yes\, if weather permits \n\n\n\nNoteWe will plan on meeting at the main RP lot for our pre-work briefing\, then CARPOOL or ride to the work site.  \n\n\n\nOnce registered please sign the waiver here.

DESCRIPTION:Help us get the Free Ride Area ready to ride! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nCome join us for a fun-filled day of trail maintenance\, and exploring at Stub Stewart State Park! This in-person event is perfect for nature enthusiasts\, families\, and anyone who loves to work in the great outdoors. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned volunteer or a first-timer\, our experienced leads will be there to assist you throughout the day. \n\n\n\n10am – 3pm \n\n\n\nMeet at the far end of the Hill Top parking lot. \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 5 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00. We will ride bikes and have beer afterwards. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nBe prepared to possibly hike through some muddy trails due to thinning activities. \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nBike – We will bike into the Free Ride area\, expect there to be some hike a bike. \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 10 am. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. Hood\, the trails at Sandy Ridge often absorb some wild winter weather and are in need of some spring time tune-ups. Whether you’re a seasoned digger or a first-timer\, all are welcome to attend.
