DESCRIPTION:Join us on this dig day at Klootchy Creek trails! This dig day will focus on our premier blue trail Low Tide. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nWe are opening some rad new Black\, Blue and Green trails this summer at Klootchy\, and it’s time to do some finishing work. Come pitch in\, see what’s new\, and ride with us. \n\n\n\nPSSSST: If you’re signed up for the Dirt Wave race in June\, this is a great chance to see the course!! \n\n\n\n10am – 3 pm at Klootchy Creek Park \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 5 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00. \n\n\n\nAll levels of experience are welcome. Never done trail work before? No problem\, we’ll show you the ropes! \n\n\n\nSocial rides\, food\, and beverages in the parking lot afterwards…all family-friendly! \n\n\n\nPlus…sign up\, show up\, SWAG UP! We’ve got cool stuff to give away for our awesome volunteers. Nobody will leave empty-handed 🙂 \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nLayers for weather \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks/Lunch \n\n\n\nTrail tools if you have some that you like\, but don’t worry if not! We’ll set you up. \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 10 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to check in. Hood\, the trails at Sandy Ridge often absorb some wild winter weather and are in need of some spring time tune-ups. Whether you’re a seasoned digger or a first-timer\, all are welcome to attend. NWTA crew leads will be there to assist you throughout the day. \n\n\n\n9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Trailhead \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 5 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nFavorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own). \n\n\n\nOptional: Folding Handsaw \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in. DESCRIPTION:Sandy Ridge Shuttle Day Fundraiser is back! Join Northwest Trail Alliance for an epic day of shuttle laps. \n\n\n\n\nSOLD OUT\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin Northwest Trail Alliance for a day of shuttled riding at Sandy Ridge. This is a fundraiser for Northwest Trail Alliance. We’re putting the money right back into trails for the community to enjoy. Cyclepath will be cooking up some food for lunch\, Hopworks will be providing refreshments\, Pelican will have N/A Hopwater on hand. We’re excited to bringing back the Sandy Ridge Shuttle. Come out and support the trails you love. \n\n\n\nNOTE: This event is sold out. We are beholden to permitting limits\, and also need to be cognizant of our partners that have already ordered the food and beverages given those limits. If you are still looking to obtain a shuttle ticket\, there are two options: \n\n\n\n\nWe are still looking for a few shuttle day volunteers; those who sign up for a half day of help during the shuttle day get to ride for a half day free of charge. Please email volunteer@nw-trail.org if interested. \n\n\n\nSome tickets may be sold on-site after 10:30 a.m.\, once initial check-in is complete.
