SUMMARY:Ride & Trail Work at Cascade Locks - 4/27
DESCRIPTION:Having fun and building trail in the Columbia Gorge! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nFor a change of pace we are doing a test ride of the trail we have been building and then doing some trail work. \n\n\n\nGoal is to fine tune a couple sections of trail which are 95% complete. \n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity to be the first to ride this unique trail. \n\n\n\nBring your bike and we’ll provide the tools and guidance. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\n\nBike and bike riding gear (Hint – treat this as a normal ride)\n\n\n\nWork clothes: long sleeve shirt\, long pants (no shorts)\, sturdy boots\, gloves\, eye protection\n\n\n\nJacket for changing weather and rain (be prepared)\n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)\n\n\n\nWater\, Snacks\, Lunch\n\n\n\nOptional: Favorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rouge Hoe (We have tools\, but please feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable with your own).\n\n\n\n\nTime and Place\n\n\n\n\n9:30 am – 2:30 pm at Wyeth Rd outside of Cascade Locks\n\n\n\nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/hfcG9ZK8vu3YCGpw6\n\n\n\nThe combined Ride & Trail Work will last approximately 6 hours\, wrapping up at 2:30\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProject:\n\n\n\n\nTest Ride\n\n\n\nDirt work shaping an finishing a trail\n\n\n\nFinishing building berm and turns\n\n\n\n\nTiming\n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 9:30 am. Please arrive 15-20 early to ensure that you are adequately checked in.
