SUMMARY:NWTA September Youth Ride @ Silver Falls
DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Trail Alliance is excited to continue our NWTA monthly youth rides! These rides are designed to provide a safe space for youth riders to meet and to develop confidence on the trails.  These rides are free\, but we ask that you register at least 24 hours in prior to ride. \nAlthough not clinics\, the NWTA youth rides will be led by experienced mountain bike enthusiasts and are open to youth of all riding abilities. The NWTA youth rides are generally for teen riders\, however\, younger children with mountain biking experience and who are comfortable riding without their parents are welcome to attend. Please note that because the NWTA youth rides are not clinics participants will have the best time if they have some cursory mountain biking experience. \nPlease bring a mechanically sound mountain bike\, helmet\, closed-toed shoes\, water and snacks. Elbow and knee pads are recommended. \nNWTA will host a corresponding ride for chauffeurs and advanced youth riders. DESCRIPTION:Families are invited to join the fun at the Castle Rock Bike Park for the annual Bike Park Blowout event.  The locals in Castle Rock built an amazing bike park with all kinds unique challenges for kids and adult riders so bring your bike and get ready to shred.  There will be skills challenge stations for kids and medals for those who attempt them all. \nWhen:  10am; Saturday\, September 15th \nFood:  Lunch will be provided by North County Recreation Association \nFree Event:  There is no charge to attend this great family event. \nDirections:  Drive north on I-5 (~1 hour from Portland).
