DESCRIPTION:Join the Trail Sustainability Institute (TSI) as we learn trail maintenance fundamentals at Hagg Lake. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nTrail School teaches the fundamental skills needed to maintain our trails. Participants will be learning safety techniques and tool identification/uses\, as well as hands-on training of corridor clearing\, drainage\, tread repair and benchwork. \n\n\n\nNorthwest Trail Alliance’s Trail Sustainability Institute’s goal is to foster a culture of land stewardship within the mountain bike community. By training people to build sustainable trails\, and by training people to lead crews of trail builders\, we are raising the level of our own stewardship\, and increasing our capacity to build and maintain quality trails. \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE \n\n\n\nWhat to wear: \n\n\n\n– Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\n– Jacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\n– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\n– Gloves \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n– Water \n\n\n\n– Snacks \n\n\n\n– Lunch \n\n\n\nSTART time is 9am. Please have yourself and your gear ready by that time. You may find it helpful to arrive 15 minutes early. \n\n\n\n* COMMITMENT* We understand life happens\, if you are unable to attend\, please let us know AT LEAST 24 hours in advance.
