DESCRIPTION:Trail work on the Williams Creek Trail\, Raking Leaves\, Blowing Leaves\, Cutting Downed Trees. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nCome join us for a fun-filled day of trail maintenance and exploring at Stub Stewart State Park! This in-person event is perfect for nature enthusiasts\, families\, and anyone who loves to work in the great outdoors. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned volunteer or a first-timer\, our experienced leads will be there to assist you throughout the day. \n\n\n\n10am – 2pm \n\n\n\nMeet at the vistors center parking lot. \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 4 hours\, wrapping up at 2:00. We will have beer afterwards. \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nBike – We will bike down to the kiosk on lower shoofly that is by the downed bridge. Bring your bike and a lock. \n\n\n\nSafety meeting promptly starts at 10 am. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are adequately checked in.
