SUMMARY:Trail Sisters Black Friday Forest Park Ride - 11/29
DESCRIPTION:register here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin Trail Sisters for a ride through Forest Park the morning after Thanksgiving! \n\n\n\nThis ride is open to women; cis\, trans\, nonbinary. \n\n\n\nMeet: \n\n\n\nAt Fat Tire Farm at 10 a.m. and roll out by 10:30 a.m. (If you drive\, please don’t park in the FTF lot.) \n\n\n\nBring: \n\n\n\nA gravel/cyclocross bike with knobby 35c/40c tires for maximum fun\, but hardtail mountain bikes are also great for this terrain. Full suspension mountain bikes might be a bit heavy\, but bring what ya got! \n\n\n\nAlso\, bring the standard stuff to keep you safe and comfy: helmet\, gloves\, layers\, fenders\, water\, snacks\, clear-lens glasses. \n\n\n\nRide: \n\n\n\nAbout 1\,400 ft of climbing over about 16 miles. DESCRIPTION:Join NWTA’s Trail Sisters & Metropolis Adventure Team for a guided ride on the spectacular Falls Creek trail. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin the Trail Sisters of Metropolis Adventure Team for a day in the Gifford Pinchot to experience this gem of a Washington trail. We will shuttle to Oldman Pass\, connecting to McCLellan Meadows and then to Falls Creek Trail for a partial loop. We divide into groups based on ability\, fitness\, and riding goals. All groups will have the opportunity to session technical parts of the climbs and descents. There are many great snacking spots with a view\, as well as some geological features unique to the Gifford Pinchot. Bring your sense of adventure and join us for a day on the trail! \n\n\n\nPlease assess your riding skills honestly. This ride requires fitness and technical skills. The trails we will ride are rated blue on Trailforks. If you enjoy riding 44 Trails area\, Roger’s camp\, Tiger Mountain\, or can comfortably ride a couple of loops (to the top and down again) at Sandy Ridge or Post Canyon\, this will be a good fit for you. Feel free to reach out and inquire whether this ride is for you! We want everyone to be safe\, relaxed\, and have a good time. \n\n\n\nThere will be a riverside BBQ afterwards hosted by Metropolis Cycle Repair. Stay for a beverage\, food\, or just spend time to chat with the other participants and make more ride plans! Make sure to bring your camp chair. \n\n\n\nWe are not meeting at an established trailhead\, please use these coordinates to get to our meeting spot: 45.922321\, -121.947033 on Wind River Road. We will shuttle to Oldman Pass\, connecting to McLellen Meadows and then to Falls Creek Trail for a partial loop. We divide into groups based on ability\, fitness\, and riding goals. All groups will have the opportunity to session technical parts of the climbs and descents. There are many great snacking spots with a view\, as well as some geological features unique to the Gifford Pinchot. Bring your sense of adventure and join us for a day on the trail!  \n\n\n\n*Please assess your riding skills honestly. This ride requires fitness and technical skills. The trails we will ride are rated blue on Trailforks. We want everyone to be safe and have a good time.
