SUMMARY:Powell Butte Spring Work Party - 4/25
DESCRIPTION:Ride season is quickly approaching! Join us for a day of trail work at Powell Butte\, getting the trails dialed for a summer of riding. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nJoin NWTA & Portland Parks as we head to Powell Butte to touch up on some trail maintenance to get everything ready for the summer. \n\n\n\nWhere to Meet \n\n\n\nEllis Street Trailhead: 5608 SE 145th Avenue\, Portland\, OR 97236 \n\n\n\nScope of Work \n\n\n\nJoin Portland Parks & Recreation staff and community volunteers in completing important trail work projects on Powell Butte. \n\n\n\nNo experience necessary! Youth participants must be at least age 14\, and all volunteers aged 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign our youth waiver forms. \n\n\n\nWear sturdy close-toed shoes\, long pants\, and long-sleeved shirts. Bring rain gear and/or sun gear\, a hat\, a filled water bottle\, and snacks. Bring gloves if you have a pair and prefer to use your own. Instruction\, tools\, and gloves are otherwise provided. \n\n\n\nYou will be walking up to 5 miles away from the meeting location and restrooms\, so please be ready to hike. Be sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early\, to be sure you don’t miss the group. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\nJacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nLunch \n\n\n\nTools will be provided. \n\n\n\nWaiver – Once registered\, please sign the waiver HERE. \n\n\n\nQuestions?
