DESCRIPTION:Help keep the exposed trails free of overgrown grass/brush/blackberries and such. \n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nJoin us this Sunday to help brush and trim our exposed trails. This is critical work to keeping our trails running safe and smooth over the summer. \n\n\n\nPLEASE SIGN WAIVER IN CONFIRMATION EMAIL \n\n\n\nDue to COVID – 19\, we are strictly limiting the number of volunteers. We NEED you to pre-register & sign the online waiver before the event. Day of & non-pre-registered volunteers will be turned away. We have mandatory guidelines for facial coverings and social distancing measures that need to be followed. This will be shared with your registration confirmation. Please understand that this is not only for your safety but for the safety of our entire community. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nWhat to wear: \n\n\n\nFace Covering as recommended by the CDC \n\n\n\n– Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\n– Jacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\n– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\n\n\n– Water \n\n\n\n– Snacks \n\n\n\n– Folding hand saw\, pruning shears\, or lopers would be useful \n\n\n\n– Shovel and rakes will be useful \n\n\n\nPlease meet at the MID GATE PARKING LOT Sunday at 9:00am Please be on time or early. We work in all weather so come prepared for the elements whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish). \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19 you are responsible for bringing all of your own food and beverages for the event. We have tools on site but if you are more comfortable with your own please feel free to bring your own. We will tackle a range of maintenance and building projects and the project will change from week to week. \n\n\n\n*Rocky Point is property that is leased by NWTA.
