SUMMARY:DIG DAY — Rocky Point - 3/23
DESCRIPTION:Help us work on a new benched-in blue/back trail as it extends beyond the final gap jumps on Gappuccino. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWho is leading this party? \n\n\n\nKygan Dao is working on a new benched-in blue/black trail as it extends beyond the final gap jumps of Gappuccino. There will be ride-arounds all the way down to this section and anyone who is comfortable on steeper terrain will enjoy this trail. The lower section will focus less on advanced features and is intended to flow more with the natural terrain\, ending just up the road from the switchblade ending. \n\n\n\nWhat is the timeframe for the day? \n\n\n\n9 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n\n\n\nWhat is the scope of work for the day? \n\n\n\nWe will carpool from the Rocky Point main lot and head down toward the end of Switchblade and next to the gravel pit. The trail is very accessible from the fire road. We will hike in to finish benching the line\, get creative with the terrain\, remove dead limbs from standing trees\, and complete the exit to the road. The trail has been raked and flagged\, we just need to get down to the soil and build some support in the corners. \n\n\n\nWe will have snacks for everyone. If we get a big enough group we will have warm chili and beverages to reward your hard work. Our goal is to have 20+ people on this crew. \n\n\n\nNote: \n\n\n\nSafety meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. \n\n\n\nPlease arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. SUMMARY:Rocky Point Dig Day — Gappuccino - 4/6
We work in all \n\n\n\nweather (except high winds and heavy snow)\, so come prepared for the elements. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n● Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, pants\, boots\, gloves\, eye protection\, and jacket. \n\n\n\n● Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\n● Water \n\n\n\n● Snacks \n\n\n\n● Bike (if you want to ride after) \n\n\n\ntrails. \n\n\n\n● Optional: Favorite trail tool; hard rakes\, McLeods\, hoes (we have tools\, but please \n\n\n\nfeel free to bring your own) \n\n\n\nOnce registered\, please sign the waiver HERE \n\n\n\nEmail kygandao23@gmail.com with any questions about this event.
