DESCRIPTION:Ride the Portland area mountain bike trails on this WOMEN-LED EVENT with Team RCB and Northwest Trail Alliance! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nBack by popular demand\, our social mtb trail rides hosted in partnership with Northwest Trail Alliance…These are trail rides–requiring a modern trail-capable mountain bikes\, and some trail riding experience–that participants love for the opportunity to meet at the trailhead\, be greeted by River City Bicycles and Northwest Trail Alliance\, learn about the trail systems from the folks who know them best\, and have good times riding in a social group ride format.After riding\, we wrap things up socially with a tailgate grill sesh or picnic\, provided by River City Bicycles. \n\n\n\nThis afternoon ride event will be WOMEN-LED with thanks to the lady shredders of RCB and the NWTA’s Trail Sisters.  \n\n\n\n—“modern trail-capable mountain bikes” – recreational or enthusiast grade mountain bikes fetauring larger volume knobby tires\, suspension\, disc brakes\, dropper-posts\, etc. \n\n\n\n“some trail riding experience” – We intend for these trail rides to be open to riders of varying ability levels\, but to be prepared\, riders should be fairly comfortable on their bikes and ready to advance from beginner trails—like those found at Gateway Green—to those found at the larger trail systems we’ll be touring.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a day of maintenance on Ernie’s Journey! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nSponsored by Cyclepath \n\n\n\nWe will be meeting at the gazebo in the Rocky Point mid lot at 9:30. Our goal is to be carpooled into the zone\, geared up and the safety meeting completed by 10am so we can get working on the trail as soon as possible.  \n\n\n\nWe will work for 3 hours\, at which point we will carpool back out to the gazebo for lunch and refreshments.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is to have as few cars past the gate as possible so if you have a car with many seats available please be willing to load it up with fellow volunteers.  \n\n\n\nOur scope for work will mostly be clearing brush that’s fallen on the trail\, reinforcing existing berms and building new berms\, as well as minorly rerouting the trail after the alternate steep line towards the bottom.  \n\n\n\nPlease be ready to roll at 9:30am sharp. We will aim to be starting our safety meeting at 9:45am at the start of the trail. \n\n\n\nNote: \n\n\n\nPlease arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. Please arrive 15 mins early to ensure that you are ready to roll. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a day of maintenance on Ernie’s Journey! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe will be meeting at the gazebo at the Rocky Point mid lot at 9:30am.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is to be carpooled into the zone\, geared up and the safety meeting completed by 10am so we can get working on the trail as soon as possible. We will work for 3 hours at which point we will carpool back out to the gazebo for lunch and refreshments. Our goal is to have as few cars past the gate as possible so if you have a car with many seats available please be willing to load it up with fellow volunteers.  \n\n\n\nOur scope of work will mostly be reinforcing and adding to the existing berms\, working on drainage\, and widening the bench cut towards the bottom of the trail. Please be ready to roll at 9:30am sharp.  \n\n\n\nNote: \n\n\n\nPlease arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in most weather\, so come prepared for the elements. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Long sleeve shirt\, pants\, boots\, eye protection\, jacket\, and gloves \n\n\n\nHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks \n\n\n\nOptional: Your bike\, favorite trail tool; (McLeods\, loppers\, hoes\, spade shovels\, etc).
