DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday\, May 22nd at 9 AM in the beautiful Tillamook State Forest to clear brush along Sickter Lars Loop. \n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\n\nOur primary focus will be removing ferns\, salal\, Oregon grape\, and salmonberry from the edges of the trail. A majority of our work will be completed with rakes\, loppers & pruning shears. Should be a great day out in the woods! \n\n\n\nPLEASE SIGN COVID WAIVER : http://nw-trail.org/covidwaiver \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nDue to COVID – 19\, we are strictly limiting the number of volunteers. We NEED you to pre-register & sign the online waiver before the event. Day of & non-pre-registered volunteers will be turned away. We have mandatory guidelines for facial coverings and social distancing measures that need to be followed. This will be shared with your registration confirmation. Please understand that this is not only for your safety but for the safety of our entire community. \n\n\n\nWhat to wear: \n\n\n\nFace Covering as recommended by the CDC \n\n\n\n– Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves\, Eye Protection & Gloves \n\n\n\n– Jacket (be prepared) \n\n\n\n– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nPlease be on time or early. We work in all weather so come prepared for the elements whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish). \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19 you are responsible for bringing all of your own food and beverages for the event. \n\n\n\nCome help bring this mountain bike-specific trail back to life.
