DESCRIPTION:Join us for the third and final installment of the NW Trail Sisters’ Trail Building Training Series back at Stub Stewart! \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\nSponsored by River City Bicycles \n\n\n\nJoin us at Stub Stewart along with our friends and generous sponsor River City Bicyles for the third and final installment of the NW Trail Sisters Training Series where we will be continuing what we started in the skills zone. \n\n\n\nThis outdoor education series is made possible through a generous grant from Travel Oregon. \n\n\n\nWhat are we doing?: The day will involve hands-on practice building drops\, jumps\, and berms. (Subject to change slightly depending on conditions.) \n\n\n\nWhat is this “training series?”: The series is a set of dig days dedicated to building skills and confidence. We have three dig days scheduled at multiple locations where Trail Sisters crew leads alongside Local Stewardship Teams will cover the technical aspects of trail building and sustainable maintenance in a fun and supportive environment. \n\n\n\nWe welcome all women and non-binary folks interested in trail building to join us! Cold hands suck! We have extras if needed.\n\n\n\nSturdy shoes\n\n\n\nHelmet or hard hat (required)\n\n\n\nEye protection\n\n\n\nWater\n\n\n\nSnacks and lunch\n\n\n\nBike and bike gear for post-dig rips\n\n\n\nAppetite for food provided by our dear friends at River City Bicycles!\n\n\n\n\nAny necessary tools will be provided. If you are unable to attend for any reason\, please cancel your registration with AT LEAST 24 hours notice so others on the waitlist have an opportunity to come. If you are reading this and the event is sold out\, join the waitlist! A few folks will likely cancel the day before. \n\n\n\nJoin NWTA and become one of nearly 6\,000 mountain bikers stewarding trails together in NW Oregon and SW Washington.
