DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sat\, June 5th at Sandy Ridge Trail System to get the trails in shape for more riding! Thank you REI for sponsoring this event! \n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nJoin us on Saturday\, June 5th at Sandy Ridge Trail System to get the trails in shape for more riding! Trail work will last approximately 4 hours wrapping up at 2:00. Thank you REI for sponsoring this event! This should be a good one to wrap up the dig season (swag!) \n\n\n\nPLEASE SIGN WAIVER IN CONFIRMATION EMAIL \n\n\n\nDue to COVID – 19\, we are strictly limiting the number of volunteers. We NEED you to pre-register & sign the online waiver before the event. Day of & non-pre-registered volunteers will be turned away. We have mandatory guidelines for facial coverings and social distancing measures that need to be followed. This will be shared with your registration confirmation. Please understand that this is not only for your safety but for the safety of our entire community. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Here\n\n\n\n\nWhat to wear: \n\n\n\nFace Covering as recommended by the CDC \n\n\n\n– Work clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, Long Pants (no shorts)\, Boots\, Gloves (bring extra pairs to change into dry gloves)\, Eye Protection \n\n\n\n– Jacket (be prepared for rain and cold weather) \n\n\n\n– Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory) \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\n\n\n– Water \n\n\n\n– Snacks \n\n\n\n– Favorite trail tool\, McLeod or Rogue hoe \n\n\n\n– Optional: Folding hand saw \n\n\n\nPlease be on time or early. Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to start time. We work in all weather so come prepared for the elements whatever they may be (and change of clothes in the car for when we finish). \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19 you are responsible for bringing all of your own food and beverages for the event. We have tools on site but if you are more comfortable with your own please feel free to bring your own. DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday\, June 12th at 9 AM in the beautiful Tillamook State Forest to clear brush along Sickter Lars Loop. \n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nOur primary focus will be removing ferns\, salal\, oregon grape and salmon berry from the edges of the trail. A majority of our work will be completed with rakes\, loppers & pruning shears.
