Debris has been cleared so we will focus on some minor benching\, berms to build\, and general tuning of the line.  \n\n\n\nIf the clear cut is too wet\, we will work on clearing corridor for another new descent in the trees. \n\n\n\nSpecific work focusGeneral improvement of roughed in line. \n\n\n\nTools needed \n\n\n\n\nShovels\n\n\n\nHoes\n\n\n\nSteel Rakes / Sturdy rock rakes \n\n\n\n\nGear SuggestionsSturdy hiking soles will help with traction as the clear cut can be very slick in the wet. Be prepared for mud and make sure you wear good gloves. Bring a backpack or bag with water\, snacks\, and anything else you may need. \n\n\n\nWill food be provided?Yes\, Lunchtime! Jack from Emerald will be guiding the work with our crew leads\, we will be tuning up all the jumps\, fixing drainage and getting the trail in great shape for the riding season.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll work all morning\, then break for lunch at 1:00 pm\, then have a raffle at 1:30pm with a chance to win a Transition Dirt Jumper\, post raffle we’ll ride! \n\n\n\nGear SuggestionsSturdy hiking soles will help with traction as the clear cut can be very slick in the wet. Be prepared for mud and make sure you wear good gloves. We will focus on our premier blue trail Low Tide. \n\n\n\n\nregister here\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe are opening some rad new black\, blue\, and green trails this summer at Klootchy\, and it’s time to do some finishing work. Come pitch in\, see what’s new\, and ride with us. \n\n\n\nPSSSST: If you’re signed up for the Dirt Wave race in June\, this is a great chance to see the course!! \n\n\n\n10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Klootchy Creek Park \n\n\n\nTrail work will last approximately 5 hours\, wrapping up at 3:00. \n\n\n\nAll levels of experience are welcome. Never done trail work before? No problem\, we’ll show you the ropes! \n\n\n\nSocial rides\, food\, and beverages in the parking lot afterwards—all family-friendly! \n\n\n\nPlus—sign up\, show up\, SWAG UP! We’ve got cool stuff to give away for our awesome volunteers. Nobody will leave empty-handed 🙂 \n\n\n\nWhat To Bring: \n\n\n\nYour bike (optional) \n\n\n\nWork clothes: Light long sleeve shirt\, long pants (no shorts)\, boots\, gloves\, eye protection\, and Gloves \n\n\n\nLayers for weather \n\n\n\nWater \n\n\n\nSnacks/Lunch \n\n\n\nTrail tools if you have some that you like\, but don’t worry if not! We’ll set you up. \n\n\n\nSafety meeting starts promptly at 10 a.m. Please arrive 15-20 early to check in.
